About the Workshop

In this interactive workshop, we explore the difference between "thin" and "thick" mindfulness – and why the distinction matters for athletes, coaches, and anyone working to bring presence, depth, and awareness into performance and daily life. Thin mindfulness often refers to surface-level practices: short-term stress relief, quick fixes, or mindfulness stripped of context. It's mindfulness as a tool – useful, but limited. Thick mindfulness, on the other hand, is rich with meaning, rooted in personal inquiry, embodied awareness, and ethical foundations. It is mindfulness not just for performance, but of life – building compassion,  resilience, and authenticity on and off the field.
