Workshop Description

Rowing, globally, is struggling with it's diversity and inclusivity. During my work for Social Impact on in the town of Solwezi in North-West Zambia on the boarder with DRC, I noticed that sport can galvanise the reclaiming of an identity, give hope and help people feel like they are enough.  I brought these two very different worlds of rowing and social impact work in  Central Africa together. This is an opportunity to share thoughts on what underpins work that can meaningfully affect  social change in any context.
